28 weeks: The Babymoon

About two and a half days into our babymoon in northern California. Started in Napa on Wednesday after meeting up with friends. Needless to say, I only got to take deep inhales of the vineyard offerings. It was a worthy sacrifice, but difficult to be sure. Yesterday we spent the day in Bodega Bay and the surrounding area. We tried our hand at whale watching, but the fog prevented us from seeing far enough into the bay. One of our friends was willing to join me in the water, despite the sweater-demanding temperatures. Here's a few pics from the day:

Blair and I in the water - the brave ones.

The belly, now quite visible, thanks to the pop. Happened two weeks ago. There goes the wardrobe.

Josh and I at Goatrock Beach, near Bodega Bay. The water/weather were quite chilly, but a water baby's gotta get in. What could I do?

I love that you finally got to go on a vacation! Yay! Only a few more months until Baby Siders gets here. I think he is going to have lots of dark hair when he comes out!

I agree. In my birth dream he had dark hair and blue eyes. They say all babies have blue eyes but his were super blue with long eyelashes. He was so beautiful. I'm fully expecting a gorgeous little man to pop right out. Can't wait - only 11 more weeks. Whoa!!!

That water just LOOKS cold! Hope you had a blast on vacation. You look great with your "popped" belly!

Your belly looks great. Definitely not confusing that baby with a burrito now. :) If your little boy is born with hair I will be so jealous. Poor Sarah is just now getting some and it's patchy. But I'm sure I will get over it and that he will be beautiful!!
